It is in the news for last many days that HEC undergraduate studies aptitude test HEC USAT test is cancelled by the HEC (Higher Education commission of Pakisan). earlier HEC issued notification that all the students going to get admission in undergraduate programs in all over Pakistan are required to pass the undergraduate studies aptitude with fifty percent marks.This update created panic situation among students their parents and even universities around Pakistan. There were voice against the USAT test 2021 and rumors were there that keeping in view the pressure by the public and universities HEC has decided to cancel the HEC USAT test 2021 but this news is not confirmed from any channel.
The Higher Education Commission's (HEC) proposal to hold the Undergraduate Studies Aptitude Test (USAT) for undergraduate admissions in institutions across Pakistan has been opposed by public and private universities in Punjab.
The
Education Testing Council (ETC) announced this week that on September
12, 2021, it will hold the USAT, a standardised test, for undergraduate
admissions in institutions across Pakistan. The deadline to register
online was August 30. Students who have completed the Higher Secondary
School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent/Grade 12 education, as well as
those who have taken the final exam and are awaiting results, can
register for the test at http://etic.hec.gov.pk.
According to the
company, the USAT is a competitive product that aims to carve out its
own niche via quality testing. It is created using a standardised
question bank, and the product's quality, equity, dependability, and
validity, as well as the integrity of the procedures involved, are all
assured at all stages of preparation, administration, grading, and
result reporting. It has a one-year validity period. Because it is a
universal exam for determining a student's abilities, it may be utilised
by any university if they so want. Candidates applying for MBBS/BDS
programmes are not required to take the test.
As the cancellation of HEC USAT test is not confirmed students are required to apply for USAT hec test till tomorrow 30th August 2021 to avoid issues in future.
