As country is fighting with covid 19 endemic, Keeping in view the prevailing situation of covid 19, Govt. of Punjab have decided to close the education institutes all over Punjab from 6th September 2021 to 11 September 2021. In this regard school education department issued a notification no SO-(A-1)1-31/2008, dated 03-09-2021 regarding the closure of schools from 6 September to 11 September 2021.
Pakistan is struggling with forth Covid 19 pandemic wave and positive cases ratio is increasing day by day and death toll is continuously increasing due to delta variant across the country. Govt. advised public to stay at home during holidays and keep their families safe. Further National command and control center issued another notification for specific restrictions in 24 cities of pakistan to fight against pademic including banning intercity traffic and other restrictions. There is no chance of complete lock down in the country to keep economy active.
Further ninth class examinations are under process and other examinations like matric and intermediate have already been completed and students are waiting for results which is going to be announced in this month.
Admissions in colleges and schools are also in progress and closure of school will effect the admission process and will delay the commencement of classes.
